Hiring the Mid Pac Services Team renovating our 430 room resort was a blessing. This was our third, and largest project to date.  Mid Pac’s management of the project allowed us to stay on target, and finish on time. It was safety and customer satisfaction first hands down. Working alongside their crew was easy. They have a professional and courteous team, and always willing to work together.

After pricing with over a dozen contracting companies, most of whom simply “flaked out” and stopped communicating or, in one case, left the island right after agreeing to start the project, I came across MIDPAC Services via a referral from HPM in Waimea. Always professional and honest, they were trustworthy on-site and were flexible in dealing with the state/county permitting process, which can be quite a headache. The pricing was excellent, and to keep the costs down standard materials were used, but the workmanship was good and BJ kept in regular touch via email, text and phone to keep us up-to-date on the project at all times and to manage the schedule. I would not hesitate to recommend MIDPAC Services to anyone, and you are very unlikely to find a better team for the price. Roger Thomas

We talked with & considered 4 contractors & their bids, as we needed to put a new roof on our home.

We decided to use BJ Kaillmal, He was in the middle of the prices we received. What a wonderful thing for us, that we asked for his services. A job well done! He was very informative with his work and his schedule, answered all questions with gentleness & gave proper suggestions. He kept us informed each day to the work progress & the next day schedule. We have given BJ’s phone number to other potential customers, & all have replied to us with good results. We felt very secure in leaving our home while BJ & his crew were on the job sight.

We have been exceptionally pleased with the work ethic and quality of the firm’s work. They have fair pricing and work within a set timeframe. For those of you who have paid skilled laborers for services we know that showing up on time just doesn’t happen. This is not the case with this company. They work from eight in the morning until three-thirty in the afternoon. You can set your watch by the regularity in which they arrive ready for work. We appreciated that very much. These men are honest. I’m not joking or exaggerating. The entire work force exhibits a morality that is sometimes lacking in modern American society, and my wife and I applaud them for their behavior. In addition to all of the above characteristics they are warm, friendly, and caring. ………. Not only have we encountered professionalism I have never seen in the construction business but you also will find the true Aloha spirit.

I put a request to hang a screen door on red beacon. The owner of mid PAC services, BJ Kailimai had submitted a bid before I’d left the store. It was also the lowest bid. They did the work three days later and did not try and rush thru or skip steps but instead took the time to do the job right. They were very professional and friendly. They were so good I hired them to install a driveway gate which they did the following week. When a few days after the install there was a problem with the concrete (not their fault) they were back in two days to redo it at no extra charge. I would recommend them for anything from small jobs to full home remodel.

My husband and I contracted B.J. to do some work for us toward the end of 2011. I can’t say enough about how professional and pleasant he was for the entire project. If something went wrong, he very quickly made it right. We found his crew to be very nice and worked hard and fast to get everything done in a timely manner. B.J. himself is a sincerely nice guy. Overall, I had a great experience with BJ and Mid Pac Services and would use them again for any future home improvement projects.

At our initial meeting, I felt BJ was very thorough in asking what we were looking for, inspecting the proposed work area, taking pictures and measuring the space.He came up with several options for what we could and could not do, and we toyed around with some ideas. Ultimately, we agreed on a plan and he emailed me with a proposal, including specs, a timeframe, and costs. The process was very smooth and efficient which I liked given I could not devote all my time to this project.

As the project progressed, naturally some unforeseen circumstances occurred (but that is to be expected with any project). BJ was great in showing me the problem, explaining the issues and proposing solutions. I appreciated BJ being available via email, phone, and text so that I could reach him with whatever questions I thought of afterwards. Eventually the issue was resolved (even though it delayed the project past the expected completion date).

In summary, if you are looking for an honest, reliable and hardworking person, I highly recommend BJ and Mid Pac.
